When you need a muse... why not try making muesli.. or cook up some granola!

We've put together this simple recipe with thanks to some insta inspo! Use it baked, hot, cool or fresh and change it up with fresh fruit (we love blueberries) and your favourite mylk/milk.

Groovy Granola

Add some crunch to your families morning (or afternoon)!
This is a simple recipe for a generous (family-sized) quantity.

Ingredients:
7 cups of mixed seeds, nuts and grains
1 cup coconut flakes
1/3 cup of coconut oil
1 tbsp of honey
a good pinch of sea salt
Cinnamon
Dried fruit

Method:
Preheat oven to 170° C. Using clean (washed) hands mix seeds/nuts and grains thoroughly with coconut oil & honey on a large flat baking tray. Bake for 15-20 mins, stirring once or twice, until golden. Add dried fruit and cinnamon to taste.

Store in an airtight container, in a cool, dry spot for six months (sometimes longer). You can also freeze granola just as you would cookies or other treats.

Note: for a Paleo/Keto option avoid oats and try coconut flakes, almond meal and extra chopped nuts and seeds.
